County Offaly has the huge advantage of being strategically located in the Midlands, right in the centre of Ireland, a Gateway county with modern primary road networks that connect it – east and west, north and south – to all the major cities and towns in Ireland.

Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Galway are all under 90 minutes drive, with excellent roads such as the new N6 motorway, which will pass 3 miles from Tullamore at Kilbeggan, giving easy access to the international airports at Dublin, Cork and Shannon and the major seaports at Dublin, Cork, Rosslare and Waterford. There are multiple connections to the main railway routes.

A number of local companies provide a highly efficient logistics support service geared to supply chain management requirements - giving advantageous speed to market access to the European marketplace.
